Madinah, Al-Jazirah, Al-Yaum and Al-Bilad newspapers said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz left on Monday for the United States to complete a medical check amid prayers to Allah Almighty for a quick recovery and a speedy return of the King to his people to continue his processes of reforms and the blessed march for steady prosperity and progress of the Saudi people. On the projects in the Holy Sites, Okaz newspaper said that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs pointed out that the hypothetical age of Jamarat Bridge is up to 200 years, and that the foundations of the project, whose costs exceeded SR 6 billion, are designed for the establishment of 12 stories that can accommodate more than 10 million pilgrims per day. The paper noted that the Project emphasizes the dedication and sincerity in all achievements carried out by the State in the service of the Two Holy Mosques, facilitation of the movements of pilgrims and Umrah performers in the Holy Sites in Makkah.
