Hijjah 16, 1431, Nov 22, 2010, SPA -- The General Directorate of Passports called today on all pilgrims who came to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year to observe specified departure dates for their home-countries after performing Hajj rituals in accordance with air tickets and the periods of Hajj visas. In a statement issued here this morning, the General Directorate emphasized the importance of cooperation from pilgrims and Hajj-related establishments to comply with the instructions and regulations of the Kingdom, which do not allow the delay of any pilgrims after completion of Hajj rituals so that they are not subject to accountability and punishment. It also called on all people not to violate regulations, to comply with instructions and cooperate for the general interests, warning citizens and residents against providing house-lodging, employing or transferring Pilgrim-Overstayers, to avoid penalties including fines and imprisonment.
