"A truck and a freight minibus collided on the road between the cities Lappeenranta and Vaalimaa near the Russian-Finnish border on Thursday evening, the drivers were Russian citizens," a source in the Lappeenranta police station told Itar-Tass. The Finnish police are investigating the road accident. "According to the preliminary version, the road accident occurred over the bad weather. A heavy snowfall was going near Lappeenranta on Thursday evening, the visibility was bad and the highway was slippery," the police source said.
