Hijjah 1431 H. / 12 November 2010, SPA -- Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, today inspected his ministry's sites in the sacred places on the outskirts of Makkah to get reassured of their preparedness to transmit its coverage of this year's Hajj and the facilities they made available for domestic and foreign media taking part in the coverage. The tour included the ministry's headquarters in Arafat, SPA's office in Arafat as well as the ministry's headquarters in Muzdalifah. Following the tour, Dr. Khoja expressed satisfaction over the preparedness of all sectors of the ministry to cover the great event. He said 75 fixed cameras and eleven transmit vehicles were distributed over the sacred area in addition to eleven satellite vehicles to transmit the event. He disclosed that studies and designs of the new building of the ministry in Mina were completed prior to the approval of the King. The building of the TV as well as the Public Library in Makkah were also completed, he concluded.
