Hijjah 06, 1431, Nov 12, 2010, SPA -- Prince Turki Al Faisal, the Chairman of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, met last night with former Secretary of State James Baker at James Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University in Houston. After the meeting, Prince Turki made a lecture about global energy issues. James Baker hailed the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United States describing the Kingdom as a strategic partner to the United States in connection with efforts to resolve the conflict in the Middle East and the stability in Iraq. "Prince Turki Al Faisal is a voice of moderation and a friend of the US." Prince Turki Al-Faisal met earlier with researchers and students affiliated with the James Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University in the presence of Director of the Institute Ambassador Edward P. Djerejian and answered questions by the audience on energy issues and the history of Saudi-US relations. Prince Turki also attended last night a dinner hosted by James Baker Institute.
