Hijjah 03, 1431 / Nov. 09, 2010, SPA -- Ministers of defense of Gulf Cooperation Council's countries concluded the 9th meeting of the joint defense council. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led by Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. During the meeting, issues concerning GCC cooperation in the field of defense were discussed by member of the council. The members stressed the importance of applying the defense strategy of the GCC countries. They expressed satisfaction for progress of GCC military cooperation and joint defense. They made a number of recommendations to the GCC Supreme Council and took a number of decisions to apply the defense and security aspect of the Bahraini vision and boost joint cooperation.
