Hijjah 03, 1431, Nov 09, 2010, SPA -- The Gulf railway project will be a foundation for a new historic era that would improve the status of the region, said Kuwaiti Communication Minister and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Mohammad Mohsen Al-Busairi on Tuesday. Al-Busairi was speaking at the 14th meeting of the communication ministers of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), which is held here. He said that the committee responsible of completing studies on the project worked hard and praised the technical team which studied and established a database for transportation in the GCC states. It is important to discuss the recommendations of the second Gulf conference for transport, he was quoted as saying by KUNA. "Cooperation between the GCC states will continue to reach integration in the fields of transport and communications," he pointed out.
