Figures on number of outgoing and incoming pilgrims in Madina released

Madinah Al-Munawarh, 2 Zul-Hijja 1431 H. / 8 November 2010, SPA -- The number of pilgrims coming to Al-Madinah Al-Munawarh via Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International airport in Madinah amounted to 21796, the departures 28292, the total number of pilgrims coming into the holy city reached 886763, the total number going out of the city amounted to 678147 and the remaining pilgrims in Al-Madina reached 208501, an official report said.
The report, issued by the Reports and Statistics Unit, added that the highest rate in terms of nationality came from Pakistan followed by Bangladesh and then India.
