13,459 German Pilgrims to Perform Hajj

Qa'dah 29, 1431 H, Nov 06, 2010, SPA -- The Saudi Embassy in Berlin has announced that the number of Muslims who have obtained visas for this year's Hajj amounted to 13, 459 pilgrims, showing a decline of nearly 4,000 pilgrims from the figure of 2009.
The financial and economic crisis as well as the increasing number of poor people in Germany, topped by Muslims led to a decline in the number of pilgrims for this season.
