Qa'dah 25, 1431 / Nov. 02, 2010, SPA -- The Interior Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States held here today their 29th meeting. The Kingdom's delegation to the meeting was led by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior. At the outset of the meeting, Kuwaiti Minister of Interior Lieutenant General Sheikh Jaber Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, who is also the Chairman of the 29th meeting of the GCC Interior Ministers, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the GCC Interior Ministers and the delegations participating in the meeting. The Kuwaiti Minister of Interior said that the meeting will address many issues of interest to the GCC Member States, particularly in the field of security. He also praised the efforts exerted by the GCC Member States in the field of security, calling on them to enhance cooperation to counter terrorist plots, organized crime and narcotics trafficking.
