Qae'da 1431, 01 November 2010, SPA -- Kuwait's Interior Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Khalid Al-Sabah expressed welcome of the visit of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who arrived here earlier this evening to lead his country's delegation to the 29th GCC Interior Ministers Council scheduled for the city of Kuwait tomorrow. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he expressed welcome of the visit of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz. We, the GCC interior ministers and senior officials are all like students before the professor of security: Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, he said, citing the unprecedented and historic successes of Saudi Arabia's Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister in fighting terrorism and extremism. He described Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz as prudent and far-sighted. For his part, Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah, the Secretary General of the GCC, said the meeting attains special importance amid the current developments in the region. He noted positive developments at the GCC level, citing the signing the agreement between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait on the movement of their nationals using domestic identity cards in the other country.
