Qa'dah 24, 1431, Nov 01, 2010, SPA -- President of the Islamic Development Bank Group Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, has addressed the 4th French Forum on Islamic Finance and congratulated the French officials on the progress they have made in the field of Islamic financial services industry. He also appreciated the great attention paid to Shari'ah-compliant finance for the resistance it displayed in the face of the recent financial crises, according to the Group's press release issued yesterday in Jeddah. The one-day Forum in Paris under the title; “Islamic Finance, the Engine for the French Economy, Investment and Financial Institutions in 2011”, was organized by the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the French Research Center for Islamic Finance and the Islamic Development Bank Group. --MORE
