Qa'dah 23, 1431, Oct 31, 2010, SPA -- The National Coalition Bloc and the Kurdistan Coalition lauded here Sunday the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz inviting Iraq's political parties for talks in Saudi Arabia after Hajj to help them form a unity government. Statements by both blocs lauded the Saudi keenness to support the Iraqi people, noting that such an initiative came at the right time especially with talks reaching the final stage on government formation, according to a report of Kuwait news agency "KUNA." The statements affirmed that parliament would convene soon to decide on government leaderships. On Saturday, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz appealed to the Iraqi people to restore their national unity, calling for a meeting in Riyadh after the Hajj season to address issues of paramount importance for Iraq's national unity.
