Qa'dah 23, 1431, Oct 31, 2010, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Arab League, Amr Moussa has expressed his appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz for his call to the leaders and representatives of political powers in Iraq to meet in Riyadh under the "Umbrella of the Arab League'' following Hajj season to discuss ways of solving the crisis of the formation of the Iraqi government. In a statement issued today, Moussa pointed to the King's confirmation of supporting whatever the Iraqi leaders might agree upon without foreign interference. On his part, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, expressed in a press statement today his appreciation of the King for this wise initiative, also praising the King's farsighted vision and his ongoing quest to serve the issues of Arab and Islamic nations, and his keenness to preserve the unity of Iraq and to support the Iraqi people with all their strata.
