A Saudi Executed for Killing Bangladeshi Taxi Driver

Qa'dah 21, 1431 H/Oct 29, 2010, SPA -- A Saudi national was executed for killing the Bangladeshi expatriate Mohammed Shah Alem Sediq who was working as a taxi driver after forcibly robbing his money and the offender had a former record of crimes which amounted to 14 crimes of the same kind, a statement by the Ministry of Interior said today.
The statement added that the authorities concerned were, thanks to God Almighty, able to arrest the offender Yahya bin Hussein bin Ahmed Magrashi of the Saudi Nationality. Following investigation, in which he pleaded guilty, the judge ordered his execution which was done in Riyadh earlier today.
