Qa'dah 14, 1431 / Oct. 22, 2010, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received here today at his palace President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, the Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization. During the meeting, they discussed developments of the Palestinian case and exerted efforts to put back the peace process on the correct track. They also discussed the need for the international community to carry out its duties concerning this issue to achieve a just and comprehensive peace which guarantees for the Palestinian people the establishing of their independent state on their national soil with Alquds as its capital in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab peace initiative in this regard. The audience was attended by Muqran bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chief of General Intelligence, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Commander of the National Guard for Executive Affairs, and Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. On the Palestinian side, the audience was attended by Yasser Abd Rabbo, Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization's (PLO) Executive Committee, Dr. Saeb Erekat, member of PLO's Executive Committee, Nabil Abu Rudeina, Palestinian Presidential spokesman and Jamal Al-Shobaki, Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
