Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received here today Mahmoud Abbas, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and President of the Palestinian National Authority. During the audience, discussions focused on the latest developments of the Palestinian cause, developments of the peace process in the region following the Annapolis conference and the international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace that secures for the Palestinian people their right in establishing their independent state on their national soil with Alquds as its capital according to the resolutions of the international legitmacy and the Arab Peace Initiative. The audience was attended by a number of princes and officials.
