Qa'dah 11, 1431, Oct 19, 2010, SPA -- Further to the statement issued by the Ministry of Interior on 7/2/1430H, containing the list of the names of 85 wanted persons, the Spokesman of Ministry of Interior announced that Badr M. Alshehri, whose name on the list mentioned above, contacted his family expressing his desire to facilitate his return to the Kingdom, and surrender to security authorities. "His return was arranged by Saudi security forces, in cooperation and coordination with related agencies in Pakistan. Alshehri met with his family members once he arrived in the Kingdom, and was enabled to accompany them in performing Umrah." In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Spokesman assured that the surrendered persons would be dealt with according to the procedures approved for similar cases; and he reiterated the Ministry of Interior's calls to all wanted persons to give up deviant ideology and turn in themselves to the security forces to benefit from the legal considerations of their surrender.
