Qaeda 1431 H. / 12 October 2010, SPA -- Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to UNESCO Dr. Ziad Al-Darees said today that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) were set to start putting a detailed agreement to discuss ways of benefiting from the MoU signed in Paris today. He expressed gratitude for the generous donation rendered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz worth $five million for the establishment of Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Int'l Program for the Culture of Dialogue and Peace. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between Saudi Ministry of Education and the UNESCO, Al-Darees said the MoU paves the way for a detailed agreement between the two sides, suggesting that some youth programs would be implemented by Saudi Arabia, somes by UNESCO and some by other countries in the member states of the organization. On the exhibition held on the fringes of the event, Dr. Al-Darees said the paintings support peace and dialogue, calling for population of the world to come nearer to each other, exactly as those paintings drawn by different artists came to reflect their views under the same roof.
