Qaeda 1431 H. / 12 October 2010, SPA -- UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova today expressed gratitude for the generous donation rendered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz worth $five million for the establishment of Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Int'l Program for the Culture of Dialogue and Peace. Following the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between Saudi Ministry of Education and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris earlier today, Bokova praised the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting education, describing it as a good example for all countries of the world. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Bokova said the financial support extended by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is a support for history, civilization and diversification in addition to modernization. She described the exhibition held on the fringes of the event as an excellent addition for this rich day.
