Qaeda 1431 H. / 11 October 2010, SPA -- Saudi Arabia's youth soccer national team today came from behind to beat Uzbekistan 2-1 and qualify to the finals of Asia Youth Championship, ongoing in the Chinese city of Zebu, and consequently to the World Youth Soccer cup finals to be held in Colombia in 2011 after, thus shooting two birds with the same stone. The Uzbeks scored their sole goal of the match in the sixth minute before Abdullah Otaif got the draw in the 84th minute. His team-mate Fahd al-Juhani gave his team the lead in the 96th minute of the first extra half. The Saudi team is scheduled to meet with the Australian counterpart on Thursday in the semi-finals as Australia conquered the UAE 4-2 today. On the other hand, Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare, and his deputy Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, on the victory of the Saudi youth soccer national team.
