Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud tonight made a telephone call to Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, President of Youth Welfare, congratulating him on the Saudi soccer team's winning its first match in a world cup qualifying tournament. Saudi Arabia beat Singapore 2-0 in group (D) within phase IV of the Asia qualifying tournament for the world cup finals in South Africa 2010. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also sent his greetings and congratulations to all members of the team for this splendid victory. On his part, Prince Sultan bin Fahd and his deputy Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, for their care and interest in the Saudi sports and youth development.
