Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi and employees of the Ministry following a review of the accomplishments of technical, financial and statistical report submitted to the Prince on the activities of the holders of mining licenses for the fiscal year 1430/1431H. The Prince wished the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia further success and development under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince. The report estimated the revenues of the companies operating in the mining sector, which mainly depend on industry of minerals extracted from Kingdom, at SR 15.1 billion as a result of the exploitation of more than 344 million tons of mineral ores, and their profits at more than SR 5.82 billion.
