Sheikh Mubarak bin Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) accompanied by Director General of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah Bin Fahd Al-Hussain paid today a visit to the Saudi radio and television buildings. During the visit, Sheikh Mubarak met with Assistant Deputy Minister for Radio Affairs at the Ministry of Culture and Information Ibrahim Al-Saqou'b who accompanied him during the tour of the radio building. Then Sheikh Mubarak visited TV building. In a press statement, KUNA Director General expressed his pleasure over what he had seen of modern equipment, indicating that he noticed the keenness of all employees to achieve significant development in radio and television missions and to exploit their distinguished experiences for the development of their performance. He said, "I noticed during my visit keenness from all brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to strengthen media cooperation and to enhance Arab information efforts to achieve the integration that we seek in this area to attain global competition. We have experiences, potentials and great opportunities to promote Arab media to the aspired global level. This is what I have noticed during my meetings with all officials in media institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
