Bahrain has made lots of achievements in the prosperous era of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa which won it international respect and appreciation, said Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (EDB) Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa. He was speaking at a banquet hosted by the French Senate and attended by French politicians and businessmen representing more than thirty companies. The outstanding international status enjoyed by Bahrain reflects ten bright years of King Hamad's rule, he was quoted as saying by Bahrain News Agency (BNA). He also highlighted major development initiatives including political openness, democratic practice, freedom of expression and economic growth. Sheikh Mohammed thanked French officials and businessmen for the warm welcome and hospitality the Bahraini delegation received during their promotional visit to France.
