Indonesian president patronizes closing ceremony of Prince Sultan Contest for Quran memorization

Indonesian President Dr. Alhaji Sosilo Bambang today patronized the closing ceremony of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Contest for Holy Quran and Prophet Mohammed memorization for the ASEAN and the Pacific countries.
Addressing the gathering on behalf of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who is also the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and sponsor of the contest, Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, Chairman of the Supreme Judiciary Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, conveyed to the Indonesian President the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He congratulated the winners on this honor, wishing them prosperous future.
For his part, the President of Indonesia sent his greetings to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and thanked Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz for holding this contest for the students in the region.
He lauded the progress of the Saudi Indonesian bilateral relations.
Then the winners names were announced and prizes given away to them.
