Supreme Judicial Council convenes its 1st meeting

Presided over by its Chairman, Dr. Saleh ibn Abdullah ibn Homaid, the Supreme Judicial Council convened its 1st meeting here today by congratulating the members of the Council on the Royal Confidence given to them by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Council also congratulated Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Yehya for being appointed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as Secretary-General of the Council.
Dr. ibn Homaid expressed thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, for their confidence in them praying to the Almighty Allah to help them carry out their duties.
Then, the Council started review of its agenda.
