Minister of Hajj Dr. Fouad bin Abdulsalam Al-Farsi stressed today that the Ministry of Hajj will continue awarding the best works of journalism during Hajj seasons. The awarding ceremony will be held on 14/12/1431H in Jeddah, Dr. Al-Farsi said. The winners of "Best Works of Journalism during Hajj Season 1430H" Award were Al-Hayat Newspaper (best press coverage during Hajj); Naeem Tamim Al-Hakeem from Okaz Newspaper and Bader Al-Khurayyf from Asharq Al-Awsat Newspaper (best single works of journalism during Hajj); Ahmad Al-Hilaly from Al-Hayat Newspaper and Mohammed Al-Misbahi from Okaz Newspaper (best humanitarian topic during Hajj); Dr. Mohammed Abdoh Ymani (best series of articles published in Al-Nadwah Newspaper); Mohsen Salem from Alriyadh Newspaper and Saeed Al-Zahrani from Al-Madina Newspaper (best press photo); and Mahmoud Al-Hamzani from Alyaum Newspaper and Fahd Al-Khumaisi from Aleqtisadiah Newspaper (best cartoon). The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) received an appreciation award in recognition of its outstanding efforts in covering Hajj rituals and activities.
