The Deputy Minister of Labor Dr. Abdulwahid bin Khalid Al-Hameed met here today with Minister of Indian Overseas Affairs Vayalar Ravi and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India in the areas of manpower and workers as India is the first country exporting workers to the Kingdom. They also discussed problems facing Indian workers and appropriate means to overcome them, and reviewed recruitment of home-workers from India and possible solutions to the problems of running-away workers. The Indian minister also commended Saudi care and attention paid to the Indian workers. On his part, the Deputy Minister of Labor lauded the Indian community in the Kingdom, also praised it for its experiences and discipline.
