Bilad newspaper said that as many as 5 million students of higher education, colleges and general education open a new academic year, pointing out that one of the most prominent features of the new year is the application of a large number of new curriculums in all schools of general education within the framework of a plan of "Comprehensive Project of Curriculum". On the peace process in the Middle East, Al-Madinah newspaper said that Arabs and Palestinians have been ambitious to a just and comprehensive peace, but not at any price, stressing that the times of concessions have passed away. The newspaper noted that Israel has given priority to settlements, continued its occupation and tried to impose de facto rule by changing the demographics in an attempt to Judaize the Occupied Al-Quds. In its editorial on the situation in Somalia, Al-Watan newspaper said that Somali crisis is witnessing now one of the most bloodiest chapters since the collapse of the political system in early nineties of the past century. The paper pointed out that the retreat of the Arab role in the Somali crisis will provide a power vacuum for forces that seek to destabilize the security of the region and to influence the movement of world trade passing through the Horn of Africa.
