More Foreign dignitaries and media representatives today lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of its National Day. They forwarded their congratulations on the occasion to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, and the Saudi people, wishing them happiness and health and the Kingdom steady progress and prosperity. The Minister of Petroleum of Egypt Sameh Fahmi paid tribute to the Kingdom's oil policy and wise leverage in the oil market. For his part, his country mate the Minister of Health Dr. Hatem Al-Jabali lauded the Kingdom's health achievements domestically and regionally. Mohammed Al-Ba'alabakki, Head of Lebanon's Journalists Syndicate, made a statement, congratulating the Saudi leadership and people on the occasion. Al-Akhbar (the news), a mass circulation of the The Sudan, today published a supplement on the National Day of the Kingdom. On bilateral exchanges, the paper said that the trade size between the two countries amounted to more than $850 million by 2008 and that Saudi investments in The Sudan reached 314 projects worth $4.3 billion by 2008.
