Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior received here on Sunday evening U.S. Assistant to the U.S. President for Homeland Security and Counter-Terrorism, John Brennan. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Naif welcomed the U.S. official and the accompanying delegation, and they exchanged cordial talks and discussed issues of common interest between the two countries. Prince Naif and Brennan commended friendly relations and continuing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America and friendly ties between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud and President Barack Obama. The meeting focused on the need to combat terrorism and to establish a strong and fruitful cooperation to reduce the spread of phenomenon of terrorism in all countries in the world, especially in the Middle East, and focused on the importance of working together to fight al-Qaeda and its terror. At the end of the meeting, Prince Naif said, "I offer my thanks and the thanks of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for the positive cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America.
