The top United Nations diplomat in Afghanistan said on Sunday it was too early to describe the country's parliamentary election as a success until final turnout figures are established and all complaints are heard. "I think that that is premature, with all due respect," U.N. envoy Staffan de Mistura told Reuters after Afghanistan's Independent Election Commission declared the vote on Saturday a success. "They have done a great job ... But I would wait to talk about success."
