Trade and economic exchange between Saudi Arabia and Jordan has been steadily growing. The Jordanian exports to Saudi Arabia within the first five months of this year amounted to about 157 million dinar, while the Saudi exports to Jordan amounted to 747 million dinar in the same period. Meanwhile, the Saudi investments in Jordan amounted up to end of March to about $two billion. The joint Saudi-Jordanian business council has been positively contributing to enhancing bilateral relations. In a statement to SPA, Nayel al-Kabariti said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become the first trade partner of Jordan and the Jordanian private sector is looking for more Saudi investments in Jordan notably in domains like water, energy, environment, transport and tourism.
