Saudi Arabia ranks first on List of Jordan's Trading Partners

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first on the List of Jordan's Trading Partners for 2007 with trade exchanges amounted to 2279 million Dinars.
An official Jordanian statement said that the volume of Jordanian exports to the Kingdom reached 260 million Dinars in 2007 compared to 272 million Dinars in 2006. The volume of Jordanian imports from the Kingdom reached 2019 million Dinars compared to 2081 million Dinars for the same period, according to a report issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Trade.
It is noteworthy that the total volume of Jordanian exports in 2007 amounted to 3179 million Dinars while the total volume of Jordanian imports amounted to 9594 million Dinars and the deficit reached 6419 million Dinars.
