King Abdullah II of Jordan on Sunday left for the USA upon an invitation from U.S. President Barack Obama. King Abdullah II will hold talks with President Obama on Wednesday and take part in a meeting that will bring together Obama, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and representative of the Middle East Peace Quartet Tony Blair before the launch of direct Palestinian-Israeli negotiations on Thursday, Petra reported. The King's talks with Obama will focus on steps needed to make the direct talks arrive at their aspired goal which is ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on the two-state solution and within a comprehensive peace in the Middle East as soon as possible.
