A spokesman for the U.N. mission in Lebanon says one of its peacekeeper has died and two were injured in a traffic accident in the country's south. UNIFIL military spokesman Col. Naresh Bhatt says the peacekeepers were on a routine patrol in an armored personnel carrier Tuesday morning in southern Lebanon. He says no other vehicle was involved and that the circumstances of the accident are under investigation. He did not identify the peacekeepers or give their nationalities, according to a report of the Associated Press.
