Three soldiers were killed and four others injured in an attack in the eastern section of the Algerian capital, according to media reports Friday. The incident happened early Thursday near the village of Dar el Beida in the Baghlia region. The attackers set off a bomb as a military convoy passed through the village, dpa quoted the newspaper El Watan as saying. Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers then shot at victims of the bombings with automatic weapons.
