based al-Yaum, praising the support extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to victims of floods in Pakistan, said the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz has launched a solidarity campaign for assisting brothers in Pakistan adding that the Saudi people have positively responded with the call of their Leader to extend support to the Pakistani brethren. The Kingdom has earlier organized similar campaigns for the assistance of brothers in Palestine and Yemen, and demonstrated solidarity with victims of tsunami in Asia as well as victims of natural disasters in Venezuela and other countries, the paper said. The daily pointed out that King Abdullah has issued his directives to extend sr 300 million, from the Saudi people, to their brothers in Pakistan. --more
