Under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Foreign Minister, the Fifth Forum of UAE Ambassadors and Heads of Diplomatic Representations abroad started today and will last for three days. The forum, which is taking place at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, besides more than 80 ambassadors and heads of diplomatic representations abroad. A number of issues and internal subjects at the Foreign Ministry will be discussed during the forum, in addition to regional and international issues, whereas this annual forum contributes in exchanging many thoughts and suggestions that work on developing performance and enriching the strategy of the ministry, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM". Dr. Gargash assured, at the beginning of the opening session, the importance of this forum, which aims to achieve communication between the ministry and missions abroad and the promotion of diplomacy by intensifying meetings and raise any issues with transparency.
