Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa will visit Kuwait on August 23 for talks with senior officials on Arab and international affairs. Ambassador Hisham Yousef, the head of the secretary general bureau, said in a statement on Saturday the league chief would hold talks with ranking leaders, in light of the fact that Kuwait is the current chairman of the Arab economic, social and development summit. He added that the planned talks would deal with implementation of resolutions of previous summits and prepare for the next one, due to be hosted by Egypt early next year. Moussa will take part in meetings of the Arab and International Relations Council, to be chaired by the former chairman of the Arab Parliament, Mohammad Jassem Al-Sager, KUNA reported.
