President Abdoulaye Wade of the Republic of Senegal expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Saudi Government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the humanitarian assistance provided by the Kingdom for needy people in Senegal. This came when the President of Senegal received in his office at the Presidential Palace here today the Saudi Ambassador to Senegal Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Aifan and the delegation responsible for delivering the humanitarian aid to the Senegalese Government in the presence of a number of Senegalese ministers and officials. During the meeting, the President of Senegal highly valued the Saudi assistance, reflecting the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Senegal's people. For his part, ambassador Al-Aifan conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Senegalese President on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan
