An 80 year-old person with 5 children and 15 grandchildren received his PH.D degree in honors in the field of educational methods and Syllabus from the University of Eden, becoming the first Arab man to receive the distinguished educational degree at a very old age in his life. Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed bin Salam, a Yemeni national won the trust and pride of disputation panel when he brought his thesis on setting standards in writing Islamic Education text book for level three of the Basic Education - a dissertation he presented before the panel for a doctoral degree. He is a holder of a bachelor's degree (in 1981) from the Faculty of Education Aden, specializing in Arabic language Arab. He also earned a higher diploma from the University of Sanaa in 1990 and received a master's degree from the Faculty of Education Aden, in the field of Curriculum and Teaching in 2004 and obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Education, University of Aden in 2010 with honors for his research paper.
