Saud Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan handed over today 150 tons of excellent dates to the Pakistani government to be distributed to the Pakistani people and those affected by flood disaster that befell in different parts of Pakistan. The delivery ceremony took place here today in the presence of Saleh Al-Mughairy, representative of the Saudi embassy and Mohammed bin Saad Al-Hagbani, representative of the Ministry of Finance. It was also attended by Abdulhameed Bulghari, Director General of cell emergency relief to the victims of floods from the Pakistani side. Bulghari confirmed that the Saudi aid of dates will be distributed to those affected in the provinces of Pakistan. Under Saudi royal directives, these dates are part of the humanitarian aid provided to Pakistan through the air lift transporting urgent relief assistance from Saudi Arabia to flood-affected areas of Pakistan.
