Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session held at Al-Salam Palace here today. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the results of his visit to Canada as well as his participation in the meeting of the leaders of G-20 countries held in Toronto. The King also briefed the Cabinet on his visit to the United States of America as well as his meeting with US President Barack Obama. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also briefed the Cabinet on the results of the two meetings he held with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at his residence in Morocco. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the talks he held with Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak and Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad as well as the outcomes of the trilateral summit he held with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and Lebanese President Michel Suleiman in the presence of Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the results of his talks with Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked their Majesties and Excellencies for appreciating the Kingdom's efforts and keenness to promote Arab solidarity; to develop united Arab stands that serve Islamic and Arab interests and causes; to enhance the unity of Arab ranks in the face of various challenges; and to intensify international efforts to achieve tangible progress in the peace process that ensures the restoration of all Arab rights, especially the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on their national soil. --More
