Jordan will host on Tuesday the first conference on improving and activating the joint Arab economy. The conference ,organized by the Regional Office of Arab Exporters and Importers Federation in Jordan, is scheduled to discuss ways to activate Arab economic integration. Media Director of the Regional Office, Ayman Al-Laham, told Petra that the conference, which will be held under the patronage of the Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, is expected to come up with recommendations to overcome obstacles hindering Arab economic integration . Participants will discuss the form of new banking supervisory policies and growth of the Arab economy through providing investment opportunities in line with governments policies. They will also review Arab countries'' industrial abilities and ways to cope and compete with giant industries around the world, improve inter-Arab trade, and activate the free trade area.
