Germany expresses condolences over floods in Pakistan

German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed her condolences to Pakistan Monday over floods killed more than 1,100 people and left around 27,000 stranded, reported dpa.
"I wish to express my deep sympathy to you and the citizens of your country," Merkel wrote in a condolence letter to Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani.
