Egyptian President meets Israeli counterpart

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak met here today with his Israeli counterpart Shimon Peres, who is currently visiting Egypt.
They reviewed efforts pertaining to the revival of the peace process in the Middle East as well as issues pertaining to direct negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis.
