The Eastern Province office of The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) constructed as many as 38 mosques in a number of Islamic countries in the second quarter of 1431 H. In Indonesia, 27 Mosques were erected, three newly established mosques in Sri Lanka, two other mosques in Cambodia, and one new mosque in each of Thailand, Yemen, Senegal, India and Bangladesh. The office also built three school buildings in Sri Lanka and Indonesia. The WAMY office also exerted much efforts in providing fresh water for Muslims, 27 new wells were drilled, including 13 wells in Indonesia, 4 in Sri Lanka, 7 in Thailand and one well in each of Cambodia, Yemen and India.
