Prince Faisal ibn Khalid ibn Abdul-Aziz, the Governor of Assir province, has highlighted the great attention given by the Saudi Leadership to disability and disabled, and lauded the efforts of Prince Sultan ibn Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz, the Chairman of the board of directors of Disabled Children's Association, for the service of disabled children throughout the Kingdom. The remarks of Prince Faisal ibn Khalid came on the occasion of signing a contract for establishing a center for disabled children in Assir province. He urged philanthropists to extend the required support to the association noting that the new center will use sophisticated medical equipment and developed educational facilities. On his part, Prince Sultan ibn Salman said Prince Faisal ibn Khalid has been extending a great support to the project of the center of the disabled children adding that the new center comes in line with similar centers established in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Jeddah, Hail and Joaf. Prince Sultan ibn Salman pointed out that the new center, which is supported by philanthropists in the province, will extend educational, medical treatment and rehabilitation services to the handicapped children within the framework of the regulations set by the association. He noted that the project of the center includes clinics, physical therapy center and other utilities.
